Kaleb Health Sync is a private, single-user integration that transfers health and fitness information authorized by the user from Google Health and connected Fitbit services into the user’s self-hosted coaching application.
With the user’s explicit Google authorization, the integration may read available activity, exercise, sleep, body measurement, nutrition, energy, heart-rate, cardio-fitness, respiratory, oxygen-saturation, temperature, hydration, and related health metrics. It requests read-only access and does not write health data back to Google.
The information is used only to provide the user with personal coaching, readiness, recovery, training, body-composition, and health-trend summaries. Google user data is not used for advertising, sold, or shared with data brokers or unrelated third parties.
Processed health information is stored only on systems controlled by the user. OAuth credentials are stored in the user’s protected local credential store. Access is limited to the user and the user’s self-hosted application.
Information remains on the user’s systems until the user deletes it. The user may stop future access at any time by revoking Kaleb Health Sync in Google Account permissions. The user can delete locally stored information from the self-hosted application and its data directory.
Kaleb Health Sync’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Questions about this policy can be submitted through the contact information published on Kaleb Southerland’s website.
